Nitrate is the less toxis endproduct of the biological filtration. High levels will stress both marine and freshwater fish, making disease outbreak more likely to occur. Invertabrate react negetively to even low levels of nitrate present.
Red Sea Test kits offer easy to use color charts for proper interpretation. You do not have to look at slightly varried shades of pink or yellow when you use a Red Sea kit.
Performs 60 tests. Range is 0-50ppm and up to 250ppm. Tests for NO3- ion. Detects as little as 2.5ppm nitrate. Standard method has four clear reading of 10ppm and under.
